My husband rapes me all the time – Wife cries out.

The issue of marital rape was at the centre of a divorce case before a Customary Court sitting at Mapo, Ibadan, last week. The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN,) reports that the Petitioner, Olabisi Adejola, pleaded with the court to dissolve her 16-year-old union to her husband, Paul, because he is too sexually active and often rapes her.
Testifying before the court’s President, Chief Ademola Odunade, Obabisi, a mother of three, said that her husband might snuff the life out of her if the court did not separate them because he usually rapes her.
“My lord, I made up my mind to call it quits with Paul because there is no peace in our marriage.
“Paul often subjects me to untold brutality in the process of sleeping with me.
“If he does not succeed in raping me, he beats or rains curses on me.
“Paul is forever requesting for sex and I fear that he might turn me into something else if I don’t leave him.
“In fact, he is a terrible drunkard and even quarrels with our 15-year-old first child.
“Paul never fends for the children and I, let alone showing concern about their education.
“Due to his irresponsibility, I have moved away from Paul’s home since March 4,” the News Agency of Nigeria quoted her as saying.
The defendant, who earned his living as an entertainer, consented to the suit but denied the allegations levelled against him.
Paul, a resident of Oke-Ado area of Ibadan, however, submitted that he was pleased with his wife filing the divorce suit because she was a dishonest partner.
“My lord, Olabisi made up her mind to leave me because I caught her conspiring with thieves.
“A gang of armed robbers have been keeping stolen money and other items in her custody and I complained bitterly about it.
“Before I returned home on that day, Olabisi had packed her belongings.
“In addition, she is a wayward wife because she sometimes left home for three days fornicating around.
“It is not true that I don’t cater for the children.
“Also, I have never forced Olabisi into having sexual intercourse with me,” Paul said.
The court held that there was no more reason keeping the marriage since the duo have expressed their interest to separate. The court therefore dissolved the marriage, gave custody of the children to the Petitioner (Olabisi) and directed the Respondent (Paul) to be paying N12,000 monthly for the children’s upkeep.
The court also ordered Paul to be responsible for the education and other needs of the children.

Benue State University student dies after marathon sex.

A 200 Level, Library and Information Science student of Benue State University simply identified as Jeff, slumped and died two days ago. The big goose is that one of his friends known as Chidi Cali who posted the news online, is claiming that Jeff died after a sex romp with his girlfriend. He claims that Jeff is a victim of voodoo planted in the girl’s private part by her father in order to prevent men messing up with his daughter. Chidi alleges that Jeff is not the first victim and may not be the last.

"Our pastor slept with me in my parents house"-- Teenager in Edo State as DSS arrests pastor

A 17-year old girl (names withheld) has narrated how the resident Pastor of the Amagba branch of the Living Faith Church a.k.a Winners Chapel, Pastor Kingsley Emeka Mokwunye, introduced her to alcohol and has sex with her severally.

The teenager who spoke to reporters in Bénin City said Pastor Kingsley also slept with her in her father’s house.
She was in tears as she narrated how the affair began in September last year shortly after she finished her secondary education.
Stating the reasons for opening up on the love affair, she said she wants to leave the state for lack of concentration and that she wants Pastor Kingsley to be jailed.
According to her, “He used to call me to advise me to stay away from boys, to live a good life and always respect my parents. I took it like he was my own father that I could trust and tell him anything I want to say.
“That was how he started calling me, talking to me till it gets to a time he told me that he likes me. I took it as a normal thing. He started taking advantage of me. He tells me I do not know what he is doing for me. He started showing me things I have not seen before and took me to places I have never been to. That was how it started. He was the first person to show me how condom looked like. He taught me how to take alcohol.
“He told me not to tell my parents. He said they will understand what he is doing. He slept with me many times including our house when my parents are not at home.
“Thinking about the thing has affected me educationally. I could not read. The whole thing was disturbing me. When I told his wife, she said I was lying and told me to come to their house and repeat it before her husband.
“I want Pastor Kingsley to go to jail. I was always shocked anytime I am in church and see him preaching. I was afraid of telling my mother what was happening”.
Her father who is also the Board Chairman of the church branch, Mr, Paul Obidah, said he was shocked that a Pastor he trusted so much could destroy his only daughter.
Paul said what pained him was that Pastor Kingsley had sex with his daughter in his house and even when his daughter was having her monthly flow.
He said he want justice in the case and not swept under the carpet.
His words, “I have been in the church for the past 27 years. I started the church in Kaduna State. Abioye led me to Christ. I have been in Kaduna all these years. It got to a time. I decided to relocate home.
“We have been in Bénin serving God with our heart. Many pastors have come to the branch and go. I see the pastors as Oyedepo, the founder of Living Faith. There was a day Pastor Kingsley came to my house, I could smell alcohol from his breath.
“One day, his wife came and said she wants to see our daughter. I left her to discuss. I heard my daughter telling her she has something to tell her. The next day, the woman came and told me she has seized her husband’s phone because of the calls her husband was making to my daughter. I just said maybe it was a family friend matter.
She said he went to pick my daughter at school, I said maybe he bought her ice cream.
“I was sleeping when something struck me to ask my daughter what is happening. I called and asked her to open up to me. She began telling me how the Pastor used to make love to her in my own house. The different hotels he took her to. She said it was a burden to her. She said she does not know what the pastor gave to her.
“This is a Pastor we trusted. We talked and do everything as a family. I didn’t know he has been doing this nonsense in my house. This is a girl that does not go out. She has been in boarding house. We don’t send her to the market. He slept with her even when she was having her menstrual flow.
“What I want my daughter to be, this man has destroyed her. He has brought shame to our house. That was why I cried out. He does not have children. Pastors Kingsley took detectives to all the hotels he has been taking my daughter to. I want justice to be done. I took him as my spiritual father. My family love God but I want justice. My daughter has lost concentration. This has been a burden to her. I want the authorities to prosecute Pastor Kingsley. I have reported to head Pastor in Edo State and he said he was not in support of Pastor Kingsley.”
Mother of the teenager, Glory, said it was a sad and unacceptable evil.
“It was my daughter who called his wife to say she has something to tell her. She has been afraid mostly seeing the man in the alter preaching that nobody can dare him. Anybody that dares him will die. My daughter was in shock. The first thing that crossed my mind was the shame in the community. How will the church take it?
“There was a time a girl in the church cried out about the Pastor. They told her not to say such things about the Pastor. I was saying Pastor cannot do that but it now came to my door step. They are all covering up things.”
It was learnt that Pastor Kingsley has been arrested and detained by men of the Department of State Security.
Sources said wife of the pastor has also been arrested as accomplice.
A senior pastor of the Winners Chapel who pleaded anonymity said the church was still investigating the matter
