Four boys land in prison after beating Up sex worker who declined sex without condom

Four undergraduates in Osun State are currently in prison custody for beating a married prostitute, Mrs Nifemi Olubayo. Despite being married, the 30-year-old mother of two, Nifemi engages in prostitution in Osogbo, Osun State. Report has it that one of the four boys, 22-year-old James Oluwaseun met Nifemi at a club (Pavilion Club) in Osogbo where they reached a bargain to have sex at James place at Ede for five thousand Naira.  When they got to James place at Ede, James insisted on having sex without a condom which Nifemi objected to. This led to an argument and when Nifemi was leaving in the morning the following day, James was said to have refused to pay Nifemi since they didn’t have sex eventually.
However, Nifemi insisted that she would collect the money since she spent the night and not having sex was not her fault. This led to an argument and three other boys, Abdulah Olamide, Samuel Okoya and Isreal Babatunde who are neighbours, friends and co-undergraduate with James, intervened.
In the process, the four boys beat Nifemi mercilessly over an allegation that she stole some documents in the house. The matter became police case and the boys were detained at Ede ‘B’ Divisional Police headquarter.
Nifemi was taken to hospital for treatment and medical examination over an initial claim by her that she was gang raped by the four boys. But the medical report indicated that she was not raped by the boys and that they only beat her.
At the police station, Nifemi was said to have requested for money and amicable settlement of the matter, saying that she was not interested in the prosecution of the boys.
The police however, charged the four boys for assault on the woman. They were arraigned before an Ede magistrate court presided over by His Worship, A.A Olowolagba.
The magistrate granted bail to the four boys but they could not meet their bail condition and were taken to the prison pending when they would perfect their bail conditions.
